As part of their topic on the Stone Age, our children in Years 3, 4 and 5 took part in Stone Age Workshops.  They were given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the life of a stone age child and experience the everyday difficulties of surviving in such a difficult age.  The learnt about ancient fire lighting techniques, foraging, nomadic shelter building, flint tools and animal skins and stone age clothing.  The children really enjoyed their workshops, as you can see from the photos!
